3:33 could also be that TikTok was artificially, pushing you as one of the longform creators and they have a heart cap, and that your success on TikTok had nothing to do with people liking this, but the platform pushing your content, besides thousands of other people no matter if it’s good or not for an internal a B test what people potentially like

Edit after finishing: I just went and checked your TikTok post, it now being 165 days since you gathered the data that it gained 7853 views. It now has 8,542. 689 views in 165 days on an account with (currently) 332.5k followers. Given that level of engagement I’d say you’re shadow banned to the absolute shadow realm and that growth up from the 315k-ish ceiling is likely entirely bots

What I personally find so terrifying is that I have actively tried to avoid / downvote / Don't Show all of this content, but the effort it takes eventually succumbs to the normalisation of it being everywhere, and next thing you know, you are falling right into the trap you tried so hard to avoid. The psyop-level efficacy of the slop model is scary beyond comprehensioin.
