Nick Hans, “Meet Me at the Graveyard” // GemsOnVHS™
Second installment of the couple days I spent with Nick Hans, my buddy, in the shadow of the mountains in New Mexico. This was shot in a horse stable he has converted into his house, and indeed that is his truck in the background. The dog is also his – a truly stoic companion.
I admit readily that I was influenced by Nick to get that same “Retired” license plate. While neither of us are truly retired (I think?), I found the sentiment inspiring. No phone, no boss, no money, no job. That really spoke to my heart. Thanks, Nick.

I love upbeat songs in this style. Kinda reminds me of Blaze Foley’s “Big Cheeseburger and Good French Fries.” Thanks for sharing, brethren!
