The answer isn’t as clear as you may think.

It's 11/11/2025.As a united states citizen.I applied for asylum in Sweden. Even though I have proof of gun violence toward me and the current situation in the U.S. they have denied my multiple requests for a "public" (free) lawyer. Even though I am a woman with a high risk pregnancy (blood thinners/clots) they will send me back to U.S. without a fair assessment and without a lawyer, that every other asylum seeker is entitled to. I talked to an expensive private lawyer that I can not afford and he said "there is no war in America and 0 chance you will be granted asylum." I created a document with all the laws you are quoting, printed pages upon pages of evidence. I will be deported and my case will be "fast tracked."

As an asylee from the states… Lawyars won't take your case. I'm lucky an lgbt organization is helping me. Contact an LGBT organization and request help! Rainbow Railroad won't help as, according to them, the US is a "safe" country.

The process to apply for citizenship in Ireland through grandparents has exploded with a backlog, 6 months to 2 years. Ireland is pretty easy and other countries sometimes have the ability for kids or grandkids to apply.

the german education system is really hard, even most germans dont get into uni.. unless you were top honors from a fancy private high school most americans would never ber able to get into a german uni, and you need C1 level german skills.. so you would have first master the langauge which takes a few years of intensive classes.. and do the whole german Abiture (german SATs)and get passing grades.. for Spain / Portugal .. land is cheap.. its easy fo go rural – off grid.. also madrid sucks.. also very right wing city.. best to go to basque or Catalyunia

    Americans at risk:
    1. Those who don't pass for white
    2. Noncitizens
    3. Gay community members
    4. Women & girls
    🤔
    5. Those actually literally, publicly standing up for those mentioned in 1-4

What if I want out because I'm disabled and Trump said we should all be killed? Hitler did that and I'm NOT sitting around waiting for them to drag me out of my house!

my wife says she doesnt care what we have to do, if trump goes in for a third term we will be fleeing. we dont care what hardships we will face we will gtfo of here. we have a great car, dry goods saved, a gun and currently working on an emergency go bag. i used to think it was dramatic but we want to have kids and as lesbians its getting less and less safe. more people feel comfortable being hateful than ever before ( we live in a red state) and its genuinely scary. one guy followed us around the grocery store recently calling us slurs and sexually harassing us and no one did anything.

Thank you for this – and for acknowledging the challenges of those specifically with disabilities. And how shitty ADHD can be as well! I'm outside the US now, and wondering whether I should try this option…

If more people would seriously consider what it takes to leave the country on next to nothing, permanently, I don't think this administration ever could have used their stance on immigration as the hammer they have. But. I've been surprised by how callous, selfish and distrusting the people around me have been for a least a decade now.

Wish I could leave. Worked since I was 16, homeless at 46, so February 10th 2024. Paid into the system, came under hard times and had 2 days notice before I was on the street. I mean ON the street, roughing it on benches, because shelters are very dangerous and space extremely limited. I'm in a pop-up camper now, working my way out of hell.

I think I’ll start taking my old digital camera with me and just film and photograph me and the people I like, I hope it makes the pictures more special than if I just record stuff with my phone

President Pedo made antifa a terrorist group. Considering antifa isn't an actual group, it goes to say that if you're against fascism, you are now at risk of your government persecuting you . Seeking asylum just got easier.

Thank you! How about if we have dual citizenship but we would like to move and be a refugee in another country(differentfrom the 2)? Will they require to prove we are in danger in the 2nd citizen country as well?
