The Spider-Man movies are so tacky and cheap you all are blinded by nostalgia thank god he never got a career outside of that is washed up seems like Tom Holland is on the same path with having no credible roles outside of Spider-Man both of them arnt even that good looking they’re not ugly but not hot both average looking and average at acting

As much money as his trilogy accumulated he really never needed to work again. 🤷🏿♂️ let’s keep in mind he also has back issues. That probably limited his mobility for action movies.

He didn't disappear he is just rather picky about the roles to portray. He said that himself numerous times. Also he never stoped acting.

He definitely left his mark in the superhero genre and Spiderman 3 with all it's flaws was always one of my favourite comic book films from the 2000's would love a continuation from the trilogy.

Same thing with Cameron diaz and so many others, being a big star can totally drain a person’s energy and motivation every now and then (especially with the constant paparazzi BS) until it gets to a point where it’s like “can I just wake up, make chili, play video games, paint a mosaic, mow the lawn, call my family and then go back to bed?”

Raimi came out years later and said it was the studio that wanted him to put all those villains in 3. They were supposedly just going to focus on Sandman and get around to the Sinister 6 eventually. Gotta love the studio heads getting greedy and ruining a good thing.

He left to become Bully Maguire to dominate the crappy Hollyweird, and managed to become an iconic meme character. Even so-called "modern" franchise failed to surpass him. 🙌💙
