From a political point of view, does the shutdown of the American government help President Trump? Who in the U.S. Congress would vote for the "invasion of Venezuela"
when there is a cost-of-living crisis? an economic crisis created by Trump's own Tarriff policy
and as for ICE repeatedly abusing its powers

As someone with a Venezuelan partner (who is currently living in Spain and terrified to come here), thank you for this video. Venezuelans are some of the kindest, genuinely amazing immigrants and should be treated with dignity. And yes, their government is oppressing them so let's not further victimize them here in the USA.

Not sure how I missed it before, but the description of the prison sounds like something out of an anime. (I'm thinking specifically of Impel Down in One Piece). Or if one took the Stations of the Cross and ran the worst parts with 100 prisoners instead of just the one. It's Night (Eli Wiesel).
Have we stopped teaching the Holocaust? Have we stopped remembering? It hasn't even been a century. We promised not to let it happen again.

Leeja! I believe Real Life Lore recently did a video about either Russia or China putting arms manufacturing or arms close enough to reach the American Gulf states in Venezuela. Can you investigate that? Is there any chance Trump, and I hate to say this, is not just fear mongering. I loathe Trump. Would hate to defend him for anything. It would also explain Trump's desire to take back the Panama Canal since having troops in Panama is a good thing if arms are indeed building in Venezuela by either the Chinese or Russians or both.

Surprised to hear you repeating US State Department propaganda about Venezuela. No mention of the decades-long US-instituted sanctions program, the multiple attempts by the US to mount coups there, or the US freezing of Venezuela's cash reserves and the outright theft of Venezuela's oil, all of which were the real cause of the country's economic problems. Also, you seem to believe that Juan Guaido is a legitimate candidate when the reality is that he (along with his CIA handlers) is behind many of the instances of extreme violence in the country. I strongly suggest you look into news sources that show an opposing viewpoint than the mainstream media viewpoints.

A few comments from a Venezuelan…
There is plenty of evidence of Maduro's involvement in drug trafficking, just for example, look up the "narcosobrinos", Maduro's nephews who were arrested for narcotics trafficking, among other evidence. As for terrorism, look up the case of the killing of Ronald Ojeda Moreno, who escaped to Chile and yet the TDA was sent to kill him. Ask any Venezuelan and they will tell you they know how the whole government is a criminal organization.
About the past few elections, the 2018 elections were clearly fraudulent and ever since, Maduro is an illegitimate President and now an usurper. Sadly, he couldn't be removed from power since he has control over the military and hence all gun power (a reason why you should be glad of the 2nd amendment in the US). As for "regime change", the people of Venezuela already choose a clear change during the 2024 elections, where Maria Corina Machado was able to secure most of the voting tally sheets and we were able to show proof of Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia's victory by over 70% of the vote.
You worry about crimes committed against TDA and Cartel de los Soles, yet you fail to mention that thousands of Venezuelans have been victims of torture and killing by their hands, there is a lot of evidences to this, and yet the ICC has failed to rule anything against Maduro's regime for their violations of human rights.
Regardless of his motivations, any Venezuelan will tell you that Trump is doing 100% what he should be doing to help us get back democracy in our country

The attack on Venezuela is about the oil. They have some of the biggest reserves left. This fits with his "threat induced deals with other countries for their resources and threats of taking over other countries like Greenland. He wants control over all resources and the power that gives him.

It breaks my heart to read the stories of the people sent there. The photographer who cried for his mother is someone I think about frequently and I can only hope that they can at the very least be freed to go to other countries. It is incredibly cruel to imprison and ship off people to be tortured for alleged crimes- even just deporting them to be free somewhere else could have been an option but our government knowingly chose blood.
