Eminem is one of the truly legendary figures in hip-hop, and modern American music as a whole. With that being said, his reputation has suffered as the years have gone on. Where he was once at the top of the game, commercially and critically, now-a-days…it’s just him and his core fanbase. Today’s video is looking at a massive point in his career: Relapse. This 2009 album is arguably his darkest, most theatrical piece of work to date, but people don’t see it for the masterpiece that I think it is. This is my time to try and show the world what I see in this project.

Crack a bottle sounds almost sarcastic to me like he cant actually feel good about winning

Relapse is brilliant but i will never understand why some people don’t give MMLP2 its flowers. it’s as good if not better than Relapse but often gets grouped with the somewhat mediocre Recovery and the very bad Revival.

How you not mention the bonus tracks! My Darling was one of the best songs on the album.

Ignore this album for years bc i heard it was bad. I listened to it after DOSS came out. Relapse is arguably a top three album. I’d personally switch it with the Eminem show only bc i dig the serial killer theme

i dont use spotify, ive always downloaded my albums on pirate bay. i literally have all Em's albums except revival (Nas, Jay, Cole, Kendrick as well) and i listen to thier discographies every other day. a few weeks ago i was listening to relapse, it's filled with pure raps and catchy songs. i dont think there's many captivating albums like relapse is

Eminem might hate this album, but if I had a chance to tell him my favorite out of all his albums, Relapse would be the one.

Critics hate em because he’s white. He could put out the greatest rap album of all time and the smart set music critics would shit on it.

Stay Wide Awake is one of Eminem's strongest songs of all time. People just don't care enough to talk about it.
