Sam Shackleton is touring the USA right now.
In honor of his first headlining USA tour right now, here is a blast from the past. Y’all might remember when me and Sam recorded a couple songs in Edinburgh years ago (https://youtu.be/67eY_u0dwSc?si=lGOHilgrxVY5DBEO). This one was recorded that weekend as well, us wandering around the old historic downtown, where he loves to busk. We turned down some alley (which he comically forgets the name of), and sat down under some street lights to play a song with the ancient city behind us. Hogwarts vibes, but with a banjo slinging Scottish madlad playing his guitar for once and harping away.
This recording was the first time we ever met Sam. He let me stay at his flat for way too long, and showed us all around. Truly the kindest soul, Sam would give you the shirt off his back. “Viral fame” couldn’t have come to a better gentleman, honestly. We have done a lot since then. At the time, Sam didn’t have anything on streaming. Now he has hits. Some of which we released with him from these sessions (check out Spotify). He’s a legend, and he is currently touring the USA. Got to see him in Milwaukee, one of the best concerts I've been to in a long time. Talked with him for a bit before and after the show as well really nice guy, happy for all the success he's having.

Saw him in Brooklyn a week ago with Jackson Lynch (of Jackson and the Janks). Fantastic show! Sam was in the crowd before his set chatting away with everyone, seemed like he was on cloud 9 when I briefly spoke to him. So happy to see him having some success.
Your video of him performing song to a king is on my regular rotation. Had to buy his EP on bandcamp after hearing that. As always, thanks for all you do Anthony! Been to see a few people live now directly as a result of your work. Keep on keeping on my man!
