How Record Labels Are Trying To Stop AI Destroying The Music Industry.

Is this good news? Google and Universal Music are now trying to take back some control over the rapid rise in use of AI music. Singers voices are being replicated and effectively “stolen” in some people’s eyes without the artist’s consent or without any compensation. Are they doing this to help artists? Or have they just seen a new way to monetise something that has been free up to now? What do you think?
