How To DESTROY A Band With One Exclamation Point

Guitar Meets Science | September 3, 2026

The Panic! at the Disco story is a wild ride through the Las Vegas desert that transformed four high school friends into global superstars before tearing them apart. From their meteoric rise with Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson to the bitter public feuds and the eventually lonely solo empire, we break down how one of the 2000s’ biggest bands collapsed from within. We explore the creative war between the synth-pop of their debut and the psychedelic folk of “Pretty. Odd.”, the departure of key members, and the ultimate end of the project in 2023. We’ll uncover the drama behind “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” the Abbey Road sessions, and the final fallout that left only one man standing. Kindly like and subscribe – it really helps this channel a lot. I do appreciate it!

Kind folks who want to support the channel – I’d rather you actually have something in return for it. Something killer. Something that puts you heads and shoulders above the rest. So I have this:
This VST plugin, The Stereo Sound Extractor, is BADASS -I coded it up from over 10 year’s hard research. It won awards. Now you can own it for the paltry sum of $29. Yup, I’m basically giving it away: https://burninguitfiddle.gumroad.com/l/rbiuu

I couldn't place them then I saw that red ringmasters jacket and I said "oh it's Panic! At the Disco" I don't remember any of their music, I didn't recognize the thumbnail but that jacket😂

The new Hitch-Hiker’s Guide has put out it’s best edition yet. First, it is slightly cheaper; and second, it has the words DON’T PANIC! At the Disco inscribed in large friendly letters on its cover.

They must have gotten inspiration from the city of Hamilton, Ohio which decided to spell it “Hamilton!” in the early 2000's under the assumption that it would somehow bring excitement and tourism or something to the city.

DId not even know who this band was, explains why they got a record deal before even a live show. More lessons from Guitar Meets Science however, for free, here on YouTube, is something worth hearing from. HE does make every minute count and is consistently providing high quality content. LIKED! SUBSCRIBED! Love this channel. ALSO! Punctuation. Makes. The. Difference.

We play a game at work called Panic at the Fallout Boy, you have to guess if its a Panic song or a Fallout Boy song in the first 15 seconds, its pretty hard.

First off, I've watched dozens of your videos and I love almost all of them. Great to hear all the back stories. One of the things that I like the most, tho, is after the video I'll type in bands' names I hadn't heard or thought of for a long time and listen to their music. Usually, I go, "Man, that was great! I wanna hear more!" This video, not so much. I remembered the name of the band and I had one of those slightly positive feelings. Then, I listened to their music. Whoo, baby. If I really did like it back in the day, what was wrong with me? Maybe I Panicked!!!!!
