Indigenous always have to be allowed or supervised by the colonial government. We can never just be American citizens. We don’t have the same rights as the rest.

I'm so damned disgusted. All of our indigenous people should be considered national treasures. The original people should be revered and protected just like national parks and monuments. Wtf? This country is in the toilet.

So, what it was all about was…who gets the profits from the casino. That's how you become a Tribe, first you build the casino. Is that so different from establishing a hunting territory? Is that so different from fishing rights? You might ask if there are any actual Indians involved but, maybe not. I wonder if that casino is gonna keep the land from being strip mined or the forest from being clear cut? I wonder where they dump the trash from the casino? I wonder if everybody in the Tribe gets a cut from the casino profits? Lots of questions, I wonder if anybody asked any of them?
