My Mormon ancestors formed a US battalion that participated in the “Indian wars”
and killed men, women and children during those battles of the Ute tribe, putting them on a reservation for good. My ancestors wrote about this in their journals and it is all published on multiple ancestry websites. Personally I think it’s wrong to kill people and I thought that Christians even Mormons thought that it was wrong to kill people although this particular ancestor whose family letters I was reading was struck by lightning. That’s how he died he was struck by lightning so everybody just remember, there’s no escaping the karma you incurred in life
