People are curious why Fortnite is designed with aimbots & hackers as part of the game. people get banned, make a new account & rinse repeat daily 2/3 matches are like this

Like the mo of the owners of Epic is to demoralize & entrance players akin to Gambling

THUMBS DOWN !!!!What a completely useless interview. It does not discuss at all what games he played. Or games he enjoyed over the years. Or how good he is at Fortnite. Or anything about his video gaming.

Billions of dollars in the bank but they still have to lay off 1,000 people. Absolutely unreal! I'm assuming they acquired a new AI system they will be implementing into Fortnite and Unreal Engine. So they need to pay off their investment. They won't need the employees any more either because of this so it's all adding up.

Tim, Unreal (1998) was a key childhood experience for me. It did not run very well on my first PC. It was a (then already old) 133 MHz Pentium with 32 megabytes of RAM and no 3D acceleration. Nonetheless the beauty, vastness, detail, atmosphere, environmental storytelling, sound and music of NaPali became something driving me towards creative work for decades. I wish Unreal (the game) was celebrated more. Quake had recieved an official remaster, I really wished Epic would give some grants to their dedicated community and elevated projects like Unreal Redux to an official status. It's never too late to celebrate an anniversary, be it 25th or 30th. Half-Life I and II got wonderful documentaries released also, I wish Unreal got some of that too. Invite Cliff, James and the rest of the people from old Epic MegaGames and Digital Extremes and tell the unheard story of a game that lives in name on your flagship product to this day. Celebrate your leacy!

My best memories are of playing the Unreal Tournament franchise. It's simplicity made it such a fun and special game that you could just jump into. I've tried modern games and they just aren't the same, amazing graphics, but too much fluff. I'm not interested in crafting weapons or building up XP, I just want to shoot stuff. That's the secret ingredient that made UT so much fun.

I’m watching this video eight months later after seeing the recent announcements by Tim Sweeney at the Unity annual developers convention.

You either presaged or encouraged movement towards open platforms and non-exclusivity!

He says the Unity payment system for mobile app developers will now be available to all unreal developers,
    and
Unity developers will be able to publish content into the fortnight universe.

    Wild!
