This Video Will Make You Cry – Emotional Visualization Experience
In this negative visualization exercise, we guide you through a detailed experience of tragedy. A tragedy that people have and continue to endure. This could happen to you, me, or anyone. Tragedy strikes with no warning, and discriminates against no one. And sometimes we have to take a glimpse into the negativity of what could happen in life in order to remember to appreciate the positivity of what we have.
DISCLAIMER: We do not wish to offend anyone or illicit painful memories of real incidents of tragedy. Our goal is only to use the possibility of this fictitious hypothetical and the deeply unfortunate results to help create a sense of appreciation for life.

For so many people this is the stark truth. Things can always be worse for most but for some this is it.

I am not empathetic. I am not this person, I am not living this person's life.
Ego-Death is the right hand to my left hand. I am in a constant state of decay.

I don't know how to feel… Cause I feel the same way as the person on the hospital bed… I can walk and talk but I feel like I can't… I feel like I'm tied to this bed unable to speak or move, forced to watch my life from the passagers seat while I'm in car accident

wow, Scary to think this could happen to any one of us at any moment. Terrifying thought to be completely paralyzed from the neck down. Your life is over. I wouldn't want to live anymore if that became my life. This is why I believe in the right to die. So very few states have this law. Oregon is the only one I can think of, but I'm sure there are others. In the event that ever happened I'd want the right to die and someone to end my existence if that happened, but the sad reality is my family and most people I know are extremely religious and see the right to die as an evil selfish sin that you will go to hell for. Plus they only think about themselves and don't give a damn about your circumstances. They'd rather you suffer a miserable existence where you can't do anything but be a vegetable because your family friends and loved ones are too selfish to think about what you're going through. They'd want sympathy from others and use you for that ( at least my family would ). Plus they would think they are morally right by forcing you to live out the rest of your life like that because that's what their jesus would do.

If you're still not convinced.
Imagine you're watching this same video while lying on the bed in that hospital.

I woke up from a 2 1/2 month coma….i had taken a bunch of klonapins….drank some vodka and partied for like a week. I went hitch hiking later one late night and was hit by an oncoming truck. Threw me 20ft in the air and landed on my face. Lucky to even be alive. This was back in 2004. But I was in a coma and i can still remember hearing my family and only a couple friends that my parents would allow to visit. I could hear them i dreamt about them it seemed like anyways a dream state. If that makes any sense. And that being so long ago i had woken up my face still swollen from the surgeries i had to go thru. 22 metal plates in my face and only a broken femur. Im lucky to be alive and yet i still struggle daily with drug abuse and mental health bullshit. Anyways this kind of touched me in a way i cannot put into words. But also helps me remember how lucky we are to even be on this earth…. but maybe not so lucky at the same time…..😳😳😳🤔🤔😂

I can't remember anything
Can't tell if this is true or dream
Deep down inside I feel to scream
This terrible silence stops me
Now that the war is through with me
I'm waking up, I cannot see
That there's not much left of me
Nothing is real but pain now
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please God, wake me
Back in the womb, it's much too real
In pumps life that I must feel
But can't look forward to reveal
Look to the time when I'll live
Fed through the tube that sticks in me
Just like a wartime novelty
Tied to machines that make me be
Cut this life off from me
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please God, wake me
Now the world is gone, I'm just one
Oh God, help me
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please God, help me
Darkness imprisoning me
All that I see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body my holding cell
Landmine has taken my sight
Taken my speech
Taken my hearing
Taken my arms
Taken my legs
Taken my soul
Left me with life in hell

This didn't work for me.
Since I was a child, I used to get mad at God asking him why he blessed me with the ability to walk, the ability to talk, why he wasted so much on me when nothing I wanted more was to just be incapacitated, away from everyone, alone.
I became upset because there are people in vegetative states/deformed/paralyzed who would KILL to be able to experience the world in ways that I have no interest using my able body to do.
I asked God, why them, and not me. They deserve my body.
Over the years I've grown to appreciate myself more, but my depression still looms over me and frequently rears it head up.
I told my psychiatrist about these feelings and she all but laughed me out the door. I thought she would understand because she was blind, but she never really believed me when I spoke to her because I 'sounded' happy, which is a defense mechanism for me.
She didn't believe me.
So I lied to my psychiatrist, telling her I felt better, but honestly I'm still suffering inside.
I know my life isn't that bad, but I wish I knew how to get a hold of these feelings.

“Life is so absurd, it makes no sense to ponder wether it’s deep or not or cry about it for more than a week. You live in a giant cold bubble lit by balls of nuclear matches and sucked up by black vacuum cleaners, sitting on a spit of water and space-dirt and sparkly space-rocks, where you can use metal discs to buy condensed white juice and solid proteins smashed on a sheet of grain, which you will burn using literal acid. No destination. No rules or rulers. Just a journey with lots of Brandy”
