THATS THE KIND OF TURTLE I SEEN IN DELAWARE!!! Was in the marshes around the bay crossing the road. It literally took up a whole lane of the road.

Pardon me, Officer Boone. But I know you try to treat each animal the best way you can. So if you have no reason for your current method, please note that holding a turtle by the tail is stressful for the turtle. The tail is part of the spinal column which is attached to the shell. So the more comfortable method is to hold the back of the shell the same way you hold the front of the shell. Thank you for your time and service. I enjoy the episodes you are featured in.

The footage of the snapping turtle swimming isn't the alligator snapping turtle, its actually the common snapping turtle. (CRIKEY! Its the Irwin's!)

350 lbs of bite force, is a low bite force estimate for an 80 to 90 lbs alligator snapping turtle, since they did measure a 90 lbs alligator snapping turtle having a 1,000 lbs of bite force….
