We so often forget that we are able to give ourselves permission to be less than super-human… My smartphone even would not allow me 2 type what you just read … 3 corrections later I was able to get an accurate dictation via combat of the "supposed to be"

Well… if acceleration is unpretty for all the reasons Ze gave, I'm not sure the visual slow down did much to advocate for that particular strategy either… Is there another option? (LOL)

On the other hand, if you're doing a project for a job, you're obviously going to want to finish it, haha. Although, if you consistently are getting assigned things you hate, it might be time to consider switching jobs, or even your career path altogether.

(cont.) Then, if after looking over it in several moods/mindsets and each time deciding it doesn't have potential to be something I like, I scrap it, but then I jot down the core idea, along with a few good things about it, in a notepad I keep on my desk.

It works pretty well for me, but everyone's different. Maybe try experimenting with different courses of action and see which one suits you best.

This might not work for you, but it's what I do. If I get partway through a project (usually it's writing a story, be it a few pages or a novella) and I start to dislike it, I'll take a look at it and ask myself if it has potential to be something I like/can be proud of. If it does, I keep pushing until I feel like I've hit another wall, then do the same thing over again.

Otherwise, I relegate it to a folder or drawer to be reevaluated later, when I'm in a different mood or mindset.

Ze, you are fucking awesome. Thanks for existing.

Also, as I see you as somewhat of an advice giver, let me ask for one-
Everything I do, I start hating about halfway into finishing it, and I don't finish any of the projects I start because of it. Should I finish them anyways, no matter how much I hate them? Should I go back and try to fix what I think is wrong with them, then finish? Should I stop and take what I like from the unfinished projects and start new ones?

    Again, thanks for existing
