We filmed on a windy day in Tulsa, close enough to a trainyard that the environment never quite felt still. Between takes there were small human interruptions, banter lost to the gusts, and long pauses where everyone stood still, waiting on the elements to allow the song to surface.
The wind and the trains were primary collaborators that day. Both moved through the frame and mics on their own schedules, interrupting and insisting, a steady reminder of where we were and why this could only happen there. The song lives in that same tension, the moment when something keeps moving forward while the person inside it has come to a halt.
