I agree with the question “why do they group French and German together?” The French and German region needs to be done away with.
France should be split, into Northern France, and Southern France. French Basques should be grouped with Spanish Basques. Corsica should be grouped with Sardinia. Alsatians should be grouped with West Germans.
Germany should be split too. South Germany should include Southern Germany, Alsaace and Lorraine, Switzerland (less French, and Italian parts), and Western Austria. Eastern Austria should be in Eastern Europe with Czechia, Hungary, and Slovenia. Northern Germany should include North Germany and Benelux. East Germany would conform to the old DDR, except the Sorb region should be in Eastern Europe with Poland, and Slovakia.

Interest thing is I'm both polish and german but I got lucky and didn't inherit the "Polish nose" and "Clog feet" so when I tell people I'm polish on my father's side and german on my mother's there is always that one person who will say…

I’m half Southeast Asian and half European. About 40% of my Asian DNA was Japanese and from the Manchurian region. If I wasn’t Japanese, I would be questioning my identity; my both of my Great-Grandmas are/were 100% to 80% Japanese and both of my Grandmothers are 90% to 75% Japanese.

Guys, I love your energy. So joyful. Okay now what about the reliability of this information. The concept behind this analysis is rittaled with unproven results. People are being lead by all those TV commercials and not be real science. I had mine analysis done as a gift from my kids and I was not surprised by the results.
Next 23 keep trying to 'Upsale' me their other testing that they say I should do.
This is the main point of DNA testing, money making scheme to smoke the public with.
