It’s Not Just Wayfair: Why Does ALL Of Your Furniture Fall Apart?
If you have ever bought a Wayfair couch or tried to assemble an IKEA anything, you know furniture sucks now. Fast furniture has taken over — meaning cheap quality for customers and low wages for workers. Meanwhile, companies like IKEA and Wayfair are raking in huge profits.

More Perfect Union’s mission is to build power for working people. Here’s what that means:
We report on the real struggles and challenges of the working class from a working-class perspective, and we attempt to connect those problems to potential solutions.
We report on the abuses and wrongdoing of corporate power, and we seek to hold accountable the ultra-rich who have too much power over America’s political and economic systems.

I kind of didn’t like how the whole point of the video was seemingly undermined in the last minute when she says the best part was that she got it for $20

Sanya — this was a well-done, lucid presentation based on accurate historical details.
And thank God, I can say this: you do not appear to be a figment of AI‘s imagination. Thank you for that. You’re very credible.

I have a few IKEA pieces in my house and honestly a few of them (dinning room table, daybed, etc) are actually quite good quality, but really some of the best pieces of furniture I own I got from consignment shops and estate sales. Unless you're building them yourself, nothing will beat furniture that was made 40+ years ago

What’s the joke, “How did you get such a great deal? Well, slavery”.😂 Stickley is in museums. Basset is the GOAT. IKEA has a cafeteria. 🤷🏽♀️

“The way the drawer is attached to the table” is not by a dovetail joint.

I have my grandma's and my great aunt's furniture from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. It is indestructible. It makes my place look antiquated, but the furniture will outlast me.

She doesn’t want to spend time or money. Plus it’s crazy to use trump as an example after talking bad about him for talking bad about china.
