Aww, you skipped traveling tent revivals, where a pastor would come to town, like a carnival, baptize TF outta people, and leave with fat stacks of donation money.
Then there was radio evangelism, reaching every farm n holler via AM bandwaves, where tent revival pastors would advertise for which towns they were coming to next, and begging for people to MAIL them money.
