Let's assume that this process has happened somewhere in the universe and as a result strange matter has formed and spreading at the speed of light. As the visible patch of the universe only forms a tiny fraction of the universe in totality, which can be infinite and spacetime is inflating far in excess of the speed of light, beyond the visible patch, then one can assume that the true vacuum decay will never be able to reach us, making us safe this time round.😅 😂 😂

I don't find that prospect terrifying at all. I actually hope that when I go it will be as unknown and painless. It would be my fondest wish. It is far more likely I will not be lucky enough to go so quickly and painlessly. And for the record, billions of earth-years of history suggest the scenario proposed in the talk is simply wrong. Far too much hypothetical thinking.

Humans may only exist within the heliosphere and like environments. The "constants" vary throughout the universe, just as concentrations of trace minerals, salinity etc exist throughout a body of water… not all bodies or portion of water are equal. Humans, without Earth's Schumann wave resonance decay in space. We've constructed Schumann Wave Generators for space station and ships, but they're only a bandaid, to slow the cellular and mitochondrial damage from being away from Earth's SW resonance. This is why Elon Musk is a fool. Mars is similar in size, but its SW resonance is vastly different than Earth's… and humans cannot evolve fast enough to produce offspring capable of producing children suited for Mars' SWR. Sure we'll send robots to mars… but man CANNOT survive nor ENDURE on mars. His investors are fools, him, the fool piper. Earth… like it or not… is man's home… and prison. How you see the world is your choice… but facts remain facts, and its important for facts to be known.. in a time of great falsehoods.
We will only, as we currently are, ever be able to look up and wonder.
