Chris definitely seems like he has turned his life around and has become what seems to be an appreciative family man. He has a hot wife he likely almost lost and two children to be a decent person for.

Just to reiterate, Bobby didn't come out and give a personal character reference sooner, not because it has no relevance whatsoever, but because he was afraid of being cancelled by association. Bobby, nobody cares about what your aquiantance with Chris was like, just like nobody cares how generous or kind OJ might have seemed to his peers. You were not his prey and he had a vested interest in making sure other comedians had good things to say about him. A blind armadillo with Alzheimer's is less gullible and manipulatable than Bobby Lee.

At the end of the day lets all look at this like adults. There is no denying delia a 30 year old dude at the time was communicating and having sex with women half his age, theres mountains of proof. Whether it was illegal or not just bc of fucked ages of consent in other states shouldnt matter, i dont give a fuck what the law says a 30 year old dude shouldnt be fucking with a 17 year old girl.
