Honestly, thank you for making this video.

I'm tired of the mainstream media's attacks on him like calling him "cheeto". Why waste time covering Trump?? It's exactly what he wants.

    Stay unbothered, kings👑

Yea but they used DEI to basically cut any program helping black people. Plus DEI actually did help in the private sector. Unfortunately they got so scared of Trump most companies are running from it.

people saying it's time to engage Trumpers now that they're in the 'find out' stage are ignorant and disrespectful. and they're ignoring a big takeaway from the video:
his supporters hate us so much that they voted for him knowing who he was and what he would do. i.e., they intentionally f*cked everyone.

even if the consequences of their vote (mass layoffs, deportations, social program and scientific research funding cuts, etc.) impacted them exclusively, any coalition-building talk that doesn't also demand accountability is dangerous and fixes nothing.

tl;dr: we need to look out for our own. they need to get rid of Trumperism.

10:26 i disagree because the fact of the matter is, : many people have truly become convinced of the lies that
    1. Illegal immigrants are truly a major cause of their problems are significantly dangerous.
2.the governement cant be trusted and thus needs to be purged or downsized.
They feel like government officials in power now have been bamboozling them for years and trump is the one who will expose them/fight back.
They feel like Trump really does care about the working class at least a lot more than these "elitist career politicians"
I think talking about everything he does(emphasizing what he DOES, not the lies and bullshit he says) is important to helping others become more informed and disillusioned. At least the working class types. The rich and corporations will obviously mostly keep supporting him.
If you dont keep them informed, the situation will continue to get worse, yet, people will listen to his lies and double down on the fact"we arent limiting immigrant enough, we arent cutting enough governement spending, there are too many transurgeries happening, etc.
If you dont want to do it because of your mental health, just say that, but don't act like pointing it out is a lost cause.

Second president to serve two non consecutive terms after Grover Cleveland…who was my favorite president and he has some interesting history with his wife. A friend of his died and he raised the friends daughter as his own until she was legal, then married her. Now it’s so far left I don’t know how to feel about it. I need info on what their relationship was like when she was under his custody. I really hope he didn’t start diddling with her as a youth. I’m hoping she had some sort of fetish for him and confessed as an adult and proposed and he in his lonely elder years decided to just ride out instead of being alone and near death. 🤦🏽‍♂️ I hope my favorite president wasn’t plotting on his friends daughter.

Failure by Dems over the decades to reform the election.
Trump's in office because Republicans have successfully chipped away at democracy over the last 15 years.
End of the 1965 Voting Rights Act in 2013 due to Supreme Court reversal should have woke up everyone to vote strong in 2014, but it didn't. Republicans control House & Senate.
Mitch McConnel blocks Obama from making his Supreme court pick.
Not electing Hillary Clinton in 2016 was a huge subtraction to democracy, electing Trump only strengthen the Republicans control of Congress & Judicial branch.

Great video! My comment is more targeted at other comments.

Trumps alienation of his base is the perfect time to show compassion, and conversation to try and bring them into the fold. The "clowning content" everywhere doesnt help build any coalition.

what im tired of is hearing ppl knock trump and what he is doing, without offering an alternative options themselves. im more focused on what i can do constructively with my time to try and help steer myself, my community and those i care about forward together progressively to become become better versions of ourselves individually and collectively, with the hope of positive and productive outcomes for all of us. just blindly hating and criticizing is trite and inane at this point, expending my energy on what i can do tangibly and what we can all do collectively to create community and forward movement, pragmatically is the best way to expend one's energy, imo.

NOOOOO. The DEI attack will not just affect white woman. Literally tomorrow, the National Endowment for the Arts has a meeting with – mostly black – grantees to prepare them for adjustments to their grants. 5 to 6 figures worth of support. Possibly gone. Not just white women.

Can’t focus on them if we not together. Our community glorifies killing each other in music but cry when others kill us.

Get as out of the internet as you can and work on building face to face community. That can ALSO be making a discord server and helping people connect to resources, or otherwise providing support. Delete your twitter and only use social media for a half hour a day max. They want you in a DOOMSCROLL despair because people without any hope don't fight back so hard.

"'Rugged individualism' has meant all the 'individualism' for the masters, while the people are regimented into a slave caste to serve a handful of self-seeking 'supermen.' America is perhaps the best representative of this kind of individualism, in whose name political tyranny and social oppression are defended and held up as virtues; while every aspiration and attempt of man to gain freedom and social opportunity to live is denounced as 'un-American' and evil in the name of that same individuality." ~ Emma Goldman

This country has not confessed to or anointed for its past sins. Those sins have mounted into a mess of sh!t, forming into a tower of Babel that Drumpf had made himself king of, and all there is, is to wait or help it all to come crashing down.

If we don't talk about trumps take over of the goverment are rights are getting stripped away to happen to and I think we can't except elon talking for trump

The real danger of trump is not himself it's more the sycophantic ideologues he's stacking the government with. He only cares about feeling like he's winning and those people know how to play him into pushing their agenda not just in the US but internationally too.
I'd be far more afraid of being in a room with jd vance than trump, that guy is an actual threat to my safety.

I agree with Kat's take on this, I'm gonna focus my life on what i want to do that makes me happy, so if the worst does come I won't go out with regrets. I will live happy and love the people around me, i will be with them in community like we always have been, because what ultimately is done to people like me by these people in power is something i never had the ability to change in the first place, and i wasted so much of my youth trying.
I'm gonna live for myself and my loved ones now, something i denied myself for years in trying to be accepted. They do not want to accept my existence, and they never will. So i will live my life despite that. Considering what has already started happening to people like me, I don't think it's unreasonable to accept the reality of the situation and just try to get by and live.
