I feel bad for Radiohead because Creep is literally one of the worst songs they've ever made, and it's their most popular one. I wish more of their beautiful songs like The Numbers, Glass Eyes, or Pyramid Song were more popular.

I feel like I’m one of the few people in existence who heard Creep a lot later than some of their other songs
My parents used to play the songs off of Hail To The Thief and In Rainbows a lot when I was a kid, but I always thought they were boring at the time and forgot about them for years
And then I started watching music theory videos, and heard the riff from No Surprises and now I’m a fanatic
Also I like Creep because I relate to the obsessive crush aspect of the lyrics and it’s a nice song(and it is actually true that I am very much inferior to Thom Yorke, so in comparison to him, I am not special), but most of the songs that I like more are songs I can’t relate to at all (with the exclusions of lyrically similar songs You, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, and All I Need, as well as songs like Subterranean Homesick Alien, which I relate to because it can very much be interpreted as a song about how it feels to be on the spectrum), in particular, my favorite Radiohead song No Surprises

Oh, that's an interesting question! Radiohead hates "creep". There are a few reasons for this.

Firstly, the band felt that the song didn't represent their sound or the direction they wanted to go in. They were more interested in experimenting with different styles and "Creep" was a pretty straightforward rock song.

Secondly, they were frustrated that they were known only for this one song. They had other songs, albums, and ideas they wanted to share, but all anyone wanted to hear was "Creep". This led to a lot of frustration and even resentment towards the song.

Lastly, Thom Yorke has mentioned in interviews that he felt the song was a bit of a joke and that he didn't understand why it became so popular. He's even referred to it as "crap" and has often refused to play it live.

However, in recent years, they seem to have made peace with the song and have occasionally included it in their live performances. It's a
part of their history, after all. 😊

This is like barely on the subject at this point, but after listening to the You Were Never Really Here soundtrack, finding out from this video that Jonny Greenwood was in Radiohead makes me love it all the more. It's insane how full circle stuff feels sometimes.

Radiohead are so overrated and Thom is so fucking insufferable, I never understood why anyone liked their music. The work he did on the Suspira remake is so awful, at least get Goblin back for a proper soundtrack but Amazon went with the least talented assclown they could possibly find.

I've certainly never been a member of Radiohead, I've never even met them let alone played with them. But Christ I'd be right bloody sick and tired of playing Creep too! What a dreary, shitty ass fucking song. Good for them for having the balls to say "nah, fuck it, we're tired of it."

I have not listened to 'KID A' since composing my tune 'Womb Life'. Listening to the latter, self made title works as a mental stabilizer rather than the legendary song in the rock music history. Goodbye Radiohead. My preference is to unleash energy as a terrorist and not keep depression inside. Being an immoral person makes me write better music. It's true.

Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in C Sharp Minor is one of the most famous piano movements ever written and Rachmaninoff apparently HATED playing it because it’s basically perfect and was written when he was very young (19, I think).

I saw Thom Yorke in a grocery store in LA today. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, "Oh, like you're doing now?" I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw Thom trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any electrical infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I can understand why they wouldn't want to play the same song over and over again. I like the song but it's not their best. Also the lyrical content makes him out to be kind of an insecure type who puts a woman up on a pedestal which doesn't represent Yorke's mindset anymore.

I hate myself. So fucking much, I legitimately just wept washing my hands in the kitchen like the fully grown unbeard-able man I am not. Because I'm a stupid silly boy. Who should die. Jump off the local parking garage, & die.
