What If There Was No Friction for 1 Minute?

Friction is what allows us to move…and to slow down. Friction is how we pick things up …and hold on to them. To be totally honest, there isn’t much we could do without friction! A world without friction would be unlivable. But, do you think you could function for one minute without it?

What If is a mini-documentary web series that takes you on an epic journey through hypothetical worlds and possibilities. Join us on an imaginary adventure — grounded in scientific theory — through time, space and chance, as we ask what if some of the most fundamental aspects of our existence were different.

Atoms are not held together by friction! They are held together by Electromagnetic force,Nuclear force and Van der Waals forces,do some research bro

Why worth the moron in the red shirt wear a thong if she will need to keep pulling it down. It’s nice to make a women loves for a man’s gaze. Because she dressed like that for the right man 😉

Friction in mechanic physics is the opposite of slipperiness of a surface. Means if the coefficient of friction is 0.2, slipperiness is 0.8. So if the friction becomes 0, everything becomes infinitely smooth and infinitely slippery. Means such things as glue becomes useless. But some things, on opposite, become useful, such as infinitely smooth saws, infinitely smooth knives and others.

Atoms are NOT held together by friction. That would be the strong nuclear force.
Molecules and particles, hmm… kind of. Although it's more of an electrostatic force really. Friction is too vague of a description.
Either way, you're somewhere between over-generalizing and plain wrong.
So kindly stop making shit up. That is all.

What if the world went without fiction? The world would not be made up. My adhd mind read this title and thought it said fiction, not friction. Still a very good and educational what if though. 💯

If you take away friction then electronic circuits won’t work especially heating elements which is caused by friction through the movement of electrons which means no resistance, no heat, no current and no power.

Well…I don't know how to thank you. you're topics are very beneficial. Tomorrow I'm going to present a presentation about this subject at school in physics lesson.
