I wonder if Tia should rig her van with a police siren so she can reach a dog-related emergency as fast as possible, seeing how it seems like it most definitely would’ve come in handy for this particular situation

This show used to make me so sad when I watched it when I was younger, because my aunt had a Pittie. She was the sweetest most loving dog I'd seen after the mutt I grew up with. She was always really protective of my young cousins, even against their asshole of a dad who raised her. She had big floppy ears and was always "smiling". No teeth, just that big ol' grin when they pant. I miss her, even when she played she was always really careful, most she ever hurt anything was when her tail was wagging, was almost a whip

I'm so glad the police called VRC instead of animal control. Some of them have indeed, been nice to Tia and her crew, but some have not. There should be a policy with all Animal Control officers that if they are called and VRC shows up, VRC gets the dogs.
