Even if a president has immunity – many of these lawsuits are based on things Trump did before he was in office? (financial fraud, pay-offs, etc.) Are they going to let someone who is supposed to report to prison into the white house?

If a president has not done anything illegal, then there's no reason for them to fear "political retribution." The only reason they'd be worried and want "presidential immunity" is because they know they're guilty of committing a crime.

While this analysis and synopsis is very good, I do detect a little bias.
I hope that the real truth, whatever it is, does come out, and sincerely hope that if found guilty, DJT gets significant jail time.
Re bias; in most cases I’d make an effort to hear both sides, but the cases For DJT I Have seen have neither been logical nor near unbiased, but always mor a “Yah Boo Sucks To You” tone, as in this is the truth because DJT says it is, and if you disagree, you’re a smelly poopy pants idiot….
Hope his defence team’s better than that tbh, cos who want’s him to be able to appeal due to being badly represented

According to Alan Dershowitz. These Trump trials are a threat to Democracy. He thinks they are a sham (link to follow). Dershowitz says these trials are the Democrats using the Judicial system as a weapon. Well, Mao or Stalin would be proud. Dershowitz points out they set a very dangerous precedent and if allowed to stand we are all in trouble. Keep in mind, he isn't exactly a Republican. Nope. He is a civil rights attorney and longtime very respected Constitutional authority. But I don't need to argue about it. If you disagree, take it up with Alan Dershowitz. Here is the link…
