In the matter of the Maga Republicans primarying these incumbents out of existence, there's another aspect of this that many are overlooking. That is the "sour grapes" retaliation issue from the loser candidates P.O.'d supporters. There could be a sizable block of Massey and Cassidy supporters that choose to retaliate against their MAGA usurpers by at least sitting out the General election in November. Some may even go one step further and actually vote for the Democrat in that race!
