TRAINWRECKORDS: Limp Bizkit’s “Results May Vary”

Todd in the Shadows | July 7, 2026

No one knows what it’s like to be the Durst man, and once they do know, they’ll like him even less. How did Limp Bizkit wind up drowning in Hatorade?

I’ve always liked the original version of Behind Blue Eyes, but even as an angsty, three days grace loving preteen I thought that the lyrics in the slower part were a bit too self pitying, almost obnoxiously so. Despite this, the song still works for two main reasons: because of how well Daltrey sells the emotion in his vocals, and because the higher energy portion at the end rules. Finding out that Limp Bizkit did a cover of it sung in a synthetic monotone with the higher energy portion completely cut out is genuinely horrifying. Like they really just removed all the good aspects of the song while also compounding its flaws to the point of insufferability.

At least half of the songs on this album are absolute bangers. It's not their best by far. But I cherish it greatly. Their newest album is tonally and sonically all over the place, far too short and at times just embarrassing.

Funny how Todd timed his line "the girl from Ghost World" with a shot of her scared face, but the video corrupted and plastered the previous shot onto her.

Its funny watching Limp Bizkit complain that other bands milked the Nu Metal thing because they were like the fucking ultimate milkers of that genre. They were the "cool" TRL friendly version of Korn and RATM. They milked it into the ground by writing the same song over and over for 4 records.

I am sorry, but I can't hate Limp Bizkit. I think the best way to think of them is that they're characters, and that the members are playing said characters
