This movie broke a lot of rules and we were all the beneficiaries. But I saw this movie for the first time it was without question one of the funniest movies I’d ever seen. Actually worked overseas in Korea for four years and when this film became available out there. OMG my Korean coworkers saw it and could not stop talking about how hilarious the gel scene was.

CLASSIC BEN STILLER MOVIE!!!! He is a master at awkward, self-depricating, cringe worth scenes in all of his movies!!!! And this is why I can watch any of his movies and never get tired of them…..tropic thunder, along came polly, all of the fockers!!!!!

Those in charge of finding the right songs for this movie, found the perfect one. They went back 30 years and discovered "Build Me Up Buttercup" (1968) by The Foundations. The song fit perfectly

I worked at a movie theater when this came out. They had promotional "hair gel" reproductions that they gave out with tickets to the movie from the studio on a cardboard card with the poster printed on it. People were walking around with it hanging off their ears by the end of it. It was Silicone and finding them as an usher was gross.

6:04 The dog kiss, the hair gel, and the unfortunate zipper accident are the funniest and weirdest parts of this movie that will stay with you forever! I won't go into the gory details of why the zipper scene was easily empathetical to me, but I will say this, "I know the feeling!"

I remember all of my friends loving this movie! One guy I knew quoted scenes verbatim every time we talked. I thought it was just ok, but to this day some friends think it’s the funniest movie they’ve ever seen.
