One of my all-time favorite movies. Mom and me (8 years old) at the theater. Good times. And I still have the album. Thanks for some very interesting facts (some of which I'd never heard). ❤

I made my aunt cry when I played Me First and the Gimme Gimmes version of Favorite Things. 😂
She hated it, lol.

No, I don't remember any movie ever making me want to do as your query suggests.
Subscribe but never like. Subscribing is enough, all the help they need.
TIL that Captain Von Trapp and Dr. Goines {Twelve Monkeys) portrayal is by the same actor.

After the boat mishape. That young girl refused to continue filming the rest of the movie until the director offered her sweets for the rest of production. She ended up eating so many sweets she gained a bunch of weight and Christopher Plumper refused to do the scene where they are hiking over the Alpes with her in his arms. They ended hiring a smaller girl for that scene, which is why you never see her fave at the end

Julie Andrews’ classic “The Sound of Music” doesn’t come off quite as magnificent as her Mary Poppins’ ballads, but it’s definitely not her fault, I blame the helicopters; she wasn’t able to sing quite as well because of the noise.
