I’m so very disappointed about what they did to this series. I’ve been a fan of Simon Stalenhag from the beginning. I didn’t mind the Amazon series “Tales From the Loop” from 2020, I thought it was kind of nice. Too bad they only did one season, they had a good thing going. But this movie, The Electric State, is an absolute disaster. It’s insulting to us fans. Deeply disturbing.

Ok what was the point of adaptation this if it was not going to follow the original Source material if DreamWorks made it would've been awesome by a 50 percent chance

“There isn’t a lot of story in this novel…” yeah, and there isn’t a lot of salt in the ocean. What’s your point? That you ruined a fantastic story and ttrpg setting for the chance to get Chris in a mullet?

There is something so frustrating about the Avengers guys taking a post-apocalyptic, short and simple, anti-consumerism story; and then trying to turn it into another profitable Hollywood sci-fi franchise with Chris Pratt and Mr. Peanut as part of the main cast.

Both galactorrhea (a bit of fluid production from breast tissue) and gynecomastia (male breast development) can happen in men – especially if overweight., but not always. And the treatment is usually “reassurance that it happens to some” or weight loss, if obese. Which most aren’t thrilled with.

Such a weird movie to say in one cheek "ya these old ad's on legs and random clankers matter lots (to me) and we should consider them living beings ! Go out and touch grass!" uses their best gretta voice "how dare you!" when the obvious is asked
-meanwhile on the other side of things thats obvious to ask: Are multiple millions to billions likely to die from a sudden shutdown to a critically used network clearly shown to have connections to practically every field of service? Example is how many surgeries stopped suddenly because the doctors just went limp like the teachers? Robots have been shown to do and be created for any menial task after all, such as the honeybot. So what happens when factories and farms run by such tech suddenly shut down? just…so very stupid.
The movies does not just butcher the og message in the og novel, but can't even figure out what its own message is without giant glaring plot holes.

2 and half minutes in. Aw, do people not like The Gray Man? I thought it was really fun and good. I thought Chris Evans' villain was just eccentric enough to be interesting in the field filled with the stereotypical evil guy, but not be so weird that it threw the whole movie off. MC had to be a bit bland because, well, I assume that's how someone raised to be an assassin has to be. But that is how that kind of character acts, so nothing special there I suppose. The action was superb though in my opinion. So now that I think about it more, Chris Evans' character and the action make it good. I mean, I'll at least not forget it. I thought it was great!

36:30 Wait how could she put on a headset to save her brother, if she literally can't wear one because of her different pupils sizes… I never saw the movie (and I'm never going to), but is this ever addressed? Or just a forgotten plot point from the beginning?

When you realise the people who helped make your favourite MCU films wrote… made this….

(((Winter Soldier has been my one true love of MCU films for years now, though I do still adore each and every film in their own way… except Love and Thunder I really didn't like that one, and I also have a great love for the shows- I will always be a defender of Miss Marvel, that show was really good- sorry for the mcu rant there)))

We can have books and written stories that have unhappy endings of people offing themselves and yet every damn movie has to end with “and they all smiled and had a good day!” I want to leave the theaters feeling like I watched a realistic story of someone being depressed and that’s it.
