It’s spooky season, so I thought I could talk about the scariest thing imaginable – the absurdity of space, time, and existence.

Trying something a little different for this video. Hope you like it.

The darkness of the void can be felt. On a cold winter night the breeze hitting you and chilling you is Space. The Earth's atmosphere is doing it's best to keep you warm. But that bone chilling feeling is a taste of what is out there

    Hey Joe,

Nice video. Honestly, the voice over presentation is not your strong suit. Better to have you talking in front of the camera, in our humble opinion.

In regards to the content, we especially liked the part where you prioritized the great filter hypothesis over the simulation hypothesis. The simulation hypothesis is such a mud-brained idea. It's the epitomy of arrogance and foolishness. Perfect for the worst of Hollywood and the technofiles.
Simulation hypothesists, 👌great work idolizing the technology of your time as the be-all-end-all. Your minds are mush. The simulation people and their professional intellectuals are really, really bungling that one. (And to use the language of "simulation" to refer to any artifice of mimicry or practice is to completely miss the point we're making.)

However, we want to make a distinction between matrix and simulation. You can believe in a matrix without it being a simulation, although matrix is a watered-down term nowdays, as well. We don't believe in either (not that this belief of our's really matters), but regardless, matrix is not simulation. We passionately oppose simulation hypothesis. Stay away please.

Fun talking to you like we know you,

    N-B.
    N-D.

Certain c can help that along, my respect, fellow psychonaut.

Edit: I commented while watching, beautiful video. If it were 24 hours long, I’d watch it all, +1 sub.

We always think about major purposes, and maybe that's where we are wrong. Everything seems more like small purposes for short term.things. organisms come and go. Love comes and goes. You are happy, you are sad. There is peace, there is war, there is idiocy, there is breakthrough. It's all transient, and the overall universe "doesn't know", just like you don't know what one of your white cells is doing today

Is it weird that I take comfort in our cosmic insignificance? Sometimes, when I'm up in my head, catastrophizing about things, I remember the ultimate pointlessness of it all – how my life is nothing more than a speck of dust on a speck of dust – and those worries evaporate into the void. My hopes and my fears are both equally fleeting, and I find that insignificance comforting. Space reminds me of this whenever I look up.

The idea that in maybe 50-100 years or even less we could have Artificial intelligence that can simulate reality that nobody can tell the difference then whos to say that isn't whats already happening?

We are going through a Great Filter right now. We have polluted our planet and changed the climate. We have plastics in our brains and forever chemicals in our blood. We are committing suicide.

Loved the video. It really made me think about us on earth and how small we really are. And it's hard to even think of how big the universe really is. Keep up the great work….
