@1:41 correction; battery life depends on current draw only, not voltage. Without knowing the current draw of the plane, battery life cannot be estimated.

nothing wrong with talking about cool ideas, just don't need to hyperbolize it and make it out to be the next big thing, it's just a cool idea. there are thousands every day, most don't work. and that's fine.

4:15 While 20-25 years seems very short. Even coal & oil plants have a life span of 30-40 years. Can be pushed with heavy renovation too. And while yes that's 10-20 years longer, it's important to include the context that even fossil fuel plants are not infinite.

Fun fact, my fiancées job is to walk around under wind turbines and look for dead birds (and bats!) so that types and number of birds killed at wind farms can actually be tracked and studied!

Here's an idea:
Why are our doors opened with the hands we shake other hands with?
Why can't we open doors with our feet that never touch each other usually or are usually always wearing protective gear?
Why do I have to flush a toilet? or use a sink? or use a door? or use many things with my hands instead of my feet?
You would have figured the pandemic would figure that out but eh, guess people really are still that blind.
I should be able to use my bathroom right now, without touching anything with my hands, but nope.
Gotta touch my bedroom door, the bathroom door, the lock, the toilet, the handles, the sink, the soap, blah blah blah
Immediately touch the handle again, immediate touch my bedroom handle again
Its so pointless.

Joe, what you are talking about here would ultimately be a jacket that absorbed all oncoming winds.
So I can bicycle without trying to resist wind, or pass through it, I would be absorbing it like a black hole.
Or even better yet, I could resist it even more with my jack and fall through it with even more resistance.
Why would I do this?
Well lets say I wanted to jump off a ledge? or building? or a plane? 🙂

If i cut it into very small triangle pieces, then find a way to reform them into new parts mixed with new fiber glass, you can no recycle them.
People wont do this you say?
