The War Inside Your Head: The Tragic Reality of Severe Tourette Syndrome | ENDEVR Documentary
The Patients We Fear – Life in a Forensic Psychiatric Hospital: https://youtu.be/zVhvfjxyqxY
Zack Lamb is living with one of the most severe cases of Tourette’s syndrome in the United States. His involuntary tics have become so violent that he repeatedly strikes the people he loves most, turning everyday life into a constant struggle for his entire family.
After years of unsuccessful treatments, Zack’s parents make the difficult decision to pursue an experimental brain surgery that could dramatically reduce his symptoms—but the risks are significant.
With intimate access to Zack and his family, this documentary follows their fight for hope as they face a life-changing operation that could transform everything—or change nothing.

This is heartbreaking and frightening. Those punches and hateful and uncontrolled things are terrifying. I wish he was medicated more.

Unfortunately, when he's full grown, if he still has the same behaviors, he won't be safe to be around.

If "getting his mind off of it" really is the thing that makes it stop, i dont see how this cant be managed like OCD or other neurological issues that "feel" uncontrollable. I feel so bad this this young man but i cant help to feel like if you address his anxiety and depression it will naturally relax

I don’t care what anyone says: the ruling class poisoned us and that’s why so many kids are sick

They must have amazing insurance. I can't imagine what this is like for someone who doesn't have insurance or for someone who has insufficient insurance coverage.

The nobility of some human beings as they consistently rise to the challenge of caring for profoundly disabled. Humbling.

This is touching. I can relate to him to some degree. I’ve got somatic and just-right OCD, it took me a up until the age of 30 to no longer feel like I was trapped in a body that would obsess over physical sensations causing compulsions that could last hours when I was younger. The brain is a fascinating organ, but the fallout of abnormal wiring/chemical imbalance can sometimes be devastating. Kudos to his patient and wonderful family.

The Trinity is a trigger…
Plus also: big petrol, big chem, and big pharma are all heads of the same entity destroying our natural humanity.

He is different after the surgery. I hope the tics are better. What a wonderfully supportive family he has. I pray God blesses him and his family.
