A bit of Los Angeles History: HELP THE EARTH, a youth organization founded by Montano Rain, then 13 in 2007, launched in Los Angeles the First Youth Environmental Summit. HELP THE EARTH brought together 275 youth from all over the Los Angeles area, Montano Rain invited Marcos Aguilar Tlayecantzi Executive Director at Semillas Community Schools to attend, bringing in a bus load of indigenous youth. Red Nation Celebration Institute was the fiscal agent for this initiative.
