To be fair, other than a few good songs, the Flashdance movie does offer the chance to gaze at Michael Nouri in his prime, and Jennifer Beals was likewise a total babe. Beals had a body double for the dancing, btw. That's mostly not her in the more athletic sequences.

I can confirm that Maniac is best reserved for running for your life or doing intense warm ups. I’ve yet to find a satisfactory dance to it without feeling like a dork.

When I started watching Todd’s videos i heard him say at one point that when he was younger he become interested in bad music and I thought “I bet this guy liked MST3K.” Because I’m around the same age and have been a diehard fan most of my life. But then I heard him say “is that Krankor from Prince of Space?” and I knew lol.
