Unless there is a major breakthrough requiring oceanic compute, there is about to be an enormous compute surplus, all bought at 40x overpricing. An H100 chips costs 200$ from TSMC. Nvidia just sells it for 40k because idiots buy it and Lisa Su is inexplicably playing possum when defeating nvidia is on the table for AMD

Ah, yes, this makes a lot of sense. Let's put the $160K box just outside of the house. Then when it gets "borrowed", make the homeowner pay for the loss.

That is not going to work. A organized gang of people could do neighborhood in a single night and walk away with six million dollars worth of hardware. Sometimes Ai bros have super stupid ideas with very predictable consequences.

Well, you can distribute out all these processing units, but they still use the same amount of power. So now the House will be using 10 times as much power than a regular house.
I’m saying this is a bad idea. It’s just it doesn’t circumvent the electricity supply problem

Rather than pump the heat into atmosphere this would keep homes warm supplementing the cost of heating.
There are a couple of concerns regarding the fine print on those contracts and will need a very careful look by a legal team to check there is no claim on ownership over the property once that contact is signed.
We already have major issues with the heat island effect and global warming so warming homes and providing domestic hot water is the most suitable use of the heat exchanger.

they will integrate the AI into homes eventually. this sounds like the beginning of it. all homes will be fully AI smart and connected. you will use it as your pc, as your AI robots modem and everything electronic in your house.
