14:20 Long story short, I was renting out my condo that I own outright to someone that was supposed to buy it (a 90-day rent to purchase legal agreement) ended up being a 5.5 year landlord. But yeah, she liked to gripe, pushy, might I say manipulative woman, and I'm not even a negligent type (can you tell). Yeah, those were "ploys" for her late rent payments. She wasn't good for it, buying it or her being a renter, and I let her prospective next apartment person know when they called. Her boyfriend even busted down the door. Effing nightmare people. Finally she moved out Oct 2019 wasn't easy either, nasty experience (May 2014 – Oct 2019). So landlord biz, absolute EFF NO.

Owning a home outright, that's been the best thing, insurance is cheap, even on my condo, cheaper. I moved out of my house and tried living in my condo back in June 2010 to May 2011 after I bought it (outright) didn't even last two years. Couldn't stand the HOA and BOD and residents, plus having the president BOD under mine. Gah, what a load of fun she was too, breaking the rules and what a loud/mouthy woman. I got her for that though lmao and all the other BOD members seen the email. Should've seen it, her son rolling out the toaster oven and office chair that she had on her patio to the dumpster (mind you, that's not lawn furniture lol) and removing all the colorful blankets off three of her windows (beige or white curtains only) 😂🤣

Anyway, came back to my house in 2012 and been back since (also bought outright, Oct 2002 ). I wouldn't want to mortgage, that sounds like a headache, and def paying rent. But, after a home being paid off, you still don't own the land it sits on, that's municipal when its within city limits and then government above that. There, property tax kicks in and keeps going, even after being a senior and exempt. No shit, anything over 250K value, they have to pay that property tax. That condo biz though, whew, that was hell in a nutshell. But owner's insurance is cheap, and it actually works after a professional plumber puts on a faulty shower drain assembly. What do you do.. 🤦🏽‍♀ Can't avoid the hoops to jump through 🤷🏽‍♀
