I know for a fact they partied while they were on stage, I snorted lines off a toilet lid with Vinca and Phil from Motorhead during the interval of the Motely Crue set. They were all drinking on stage too

I used to love Motley Crue but then they screwed over everybody including each other, and after I paid top dollar for their first final tour I startetd question them as far as being decent people, and then after they kept lying over and over about their final tour for two decades straight, I just stopped listening to their music all together.

I did a similar thing at a 24hr mountain bike race once. Our team of 4 would smash out 2 laps each, around 15 miles total at race pace, hand the baton to the next rider, rinse and repeat. I'd come in from my laps and smash a beer. Before the race, I had set up a dozen emptied and cleaned brown glass beer bottles with Gatorade and recapped them. It looked like I was smashing beers but I was in full recovery mode. I earned a reputation as a hard man, pulling competitive lap times fuelled by dark ales. Truth be told, I was just as fake as Motley Crue. At least my lap times weren't mimed.

It’s not too hard to fathom that they would get trashed before or at the beginning of the show then switch it out so they don’t pass out on stage. It’s just a prop anyway.

I was a huge fan of Crue till I saw that fake shit live in Knoxville. The whole show was pathetic. Starting with someone begging for girls to come to their bus and I was thinking why the fck should they beg for girls. Guns n Roses had opened with a kick ass performance. I guess Crue decided that volume was the answer to that and you couldn't hear the music because it was so fckn loud. The Tommy put the nail in the whole bullshit show by chugging down a fifth of tea and drumming upside-down on his special drum riser.

This guy Fred Saunders busted me and 2 friends coming in through a rear door that was left unlocked at Miami Arena, Dr Feelgood tour. It was sold out and we couldn't get in. Jumped a fence, went in a door that was unlocked and we thought we had made it all the way, then he just happen to be walking out of a door inside and saw us and had us thrown out. 1990.

seen the Girls, Girls, Girls tour with Nikki drinking the bottle of Jack live "SUCK-IT BACK NIKKI" and after he drank the Ice-Tea he would start showering the crowd with a different bottle to prove it was real but he never drank out of that bottle. I guess the kids fell for it but we know it was all show. I mean who could chug a 40 of Jack in 3 mins ?

Fun fact; you could go pick up your check at Fred’s on payday. In his office the walls were lined with signed glossy 8x10s of the artists he’d built stages for.
Amongst these was Fred’s FBI most wanted poster, NOT from the county fair. Apparently he used to like to ride motorcycles with other…enthusiasts, yeah, that’s the term.

I saw them open for Aerosmith in like 2009 and Vince was a drunken mess. Absolute shitshow, horrible fucking concert until Aerosmith took the stage.
