Matt is a lifelong favorite of mine. It's so creative and capable. I don't feel that he fully fits Pearl Jam, but in Soundgarden, he's on another level entirely. Pure wizardry.

I thin k it''s the only format where the musician has free rein to bring there style to the table. Guitars… vocals… bass… these are all fixed… but percussion… its so open to interpretation.
