I know this is a joke, but this is why I don't take it that seriously if somebody just tells me they have trauma. With enough delusion, you can think you got traumatised by the most normal thing ever.

I can somewhat relate to this experience… I was forced to endure bath time constantly by my parents. I can’t look at tubs of clean water without getting flashes.

What a strange custom, must be some religious cult thing. My parents put my sister and me to bed with me in coveralls and a black suit jacket holding a three-pronged pitchfork, while she wears a colonial print apron; ya know, like NORMAL families you see in the American Gothic painting. Who puts their kids in a straitjacket covered in flesh-eating dinosaurs?

well, at least they didn't tie you up, lock you in closets, burn you with cigarettes, or drag you through bars after letting everyone molest you. Things can always be worse, jammies man..

THE SICK BASTARDS ! this needs Steve Wilco to cover this just to throw a chair fit.
I was Flannelled as a child, whilst stay at my aunties. I could hardly extracate from the candlewick bedspread and the fluffy toilet lid was like a bear trap.

Pajamas Trauma Stress Disorder is real, folks. Every time I put on socks I experience ghost padded foot sensations that make me involuntarily throw a tantrum and call my parents out of nowhere to scream I Don’t Wanna!

In case someone doesn’t understand the joke, it’s making fun of just how hard it is for toddlers to get ready for bed. It’s so hard when you’re so small and don’t want to sleep!
