Julia Jacklin | Sub Pop Singles Club Volume 5 | Vinyl Unboxing & Review
Andy from the FensePost Indie Music & Vinyl Blog looks at the 7-inch single for Sub Pop Singles Club Volume 5 by Julia Jacklin for the songs “To Perth Before the Border Closes” with the B-side “Cry.” In addition to doing a quick unboxing video on the album, he gives his thoughts in a quick album review.
Released as the December 2020 installation of Sub Pop’s famed 7″ Singles Club, Julia Jacklin’s tracks seem so poignant for what the world experienced in 2020 with the pandemic, travel, isolation, and raw emotion. It was, in a sense, the perfect 7-inch for the time.

I’m glad I have this in my collection, I know it would be hard later on for people to collect her 7 inch vinyls and her rare records who start finding out about her.
