🔎James Tucker:
Yadkin County, North Carolina is the hometown of indie country artist James Tucker. Raised on a cow farm by a Southern Baptist preacher father, Tucker picked up music playing in the church youth band in high school. He honed his songwriting skills while serving in the military overseas – songwriting became his release. Once back home in the states, he began playing live music and released his debut single “Man I Am.” His music has drawn comparisons to contemporaries Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers, but Tucker also cites inspiration from songwriters like Jason Isbell and artists beyond the country realm including Mac Miller and Death Cab for Cutie.

Tucker performs “Those Days,” “Man I Am,” “October,” and “Stay Home Tonight” for this brand new OurVinyl Session, filmed and recorded live at OurVinyl Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.
