    Hypnosis is GENERALLY safe. Hypnotherapy is one of the most effective ways to treat several things.

    I am not going to spread the lie of it "can't make you do anything you don't want to." If if genuinely couldn't it wouldn't be illegal to use it to convince people to do things. However it is EXTREMELY difficult to make anyone do anything they don't want to do. It comes down to suggestablitly depth of trace, trust, and repetition. If it is something you done constantly your brain may not care that you don't want to do it, if you trust someone more you may ignore your better judgment more, if you are more suggestable before than most you obviously will be extremely suggestable, and the deeper you are the more suggestable you tend to be.

    Crazy thing is people CONSTANTLY try to fight me on this even though THE LAW agrees with me. Often times they at best are a psychiatrist who doesn't use hypnosis. That may sound like an authority figure on the subject, but it is not. Psychology is a wide field, and someone who doesn't practice hypnotherapy trying to be an authority on hypnosis is equivalent to a podiatrist trying to talk about neurological diseases or a veterinarian trying to tell you how to take care of your soil. Sure, the podiatrist is a doctor and the veterinarian has an agricultural degree, but they are in something so far removed from the topic it doesn't even overlap in skill set and barely does in knowledge.

    First day state student council convention 2006. Hungerover, exhausted, and sore legs from it. I get hypnotized. I was aware but it was like I was just vibing and doing without thinking about what he said. Best part is it felt like I had a really restful nap and my legs no longer ached.

    So I will say this, there's been times where people have been apparently under hypnosis and claim, oh I had to do the crime. I was under hypnosis, and they tried to use that as an actual thing. Most of the time, if you hear someone committing a crime or something fucked up under him, they're just doing a crime

    Sorry but this is genuinely your worst work yet, I KNOW 80% of the things you mentioned are bullshit. Hypnosis cant make you do anything outside your character, nor do hypnotised ppl "not feel pain" anymore
