What would be different if live is a simulation?
We don’t know where our thoughts come from. There seems to be no reason nor meaning of life.
    It’s simply is.
On the other hand, if there would be a reason. It would not be less depressing.
Because we would life for someone or something else. What deep hit our self would that be.

Even if we would be in a simulation this does not mean we dont have to take our relationship with others not seriously. The danger here lies in thinking none of this all matters, what about love?

As always in modern western culture we are told that there is only one correct personality type which is the best and which everyone should have. It is a reflection of the depth to which capitalism has totally taken control of the western mind, that this personality is always the one which best suits big business, of the mindless, hedonistic consumer who buys now and pays later, and has no conception that pleasure is not the same thing as happiness. There are no problems only challenges. The glass is always half full, not half empty. All is for the best in the best of all possible worlds in a liberal, free market economy where we know our business leaders really care about us and will solve all our problems if we just trust them and don't interfere.

This trendy idea that the universe is a 'simulation' (only briefly mentioned here in fact), is one of the most pointless and silly theories of all time. Most of all it is silly because does not actually answer anything. One simulation can be nested inside another simulation ad infinitum. No answers come out of this unbounded recursion.

As most adults know, it is our responsibilities towards other people that account for our commitments to the 'rat race' etc. It is also our relationships which give us most of the sense of 'reward' in our lives.

The ultramaterialistic view of life which is coming to dominate western culture makes life pointless consumption and enjoyment. However humans inhabit a moral, ethical, emotional and spiritual world as well as a material world. This derives from our higher intelligence, sense of conscience, and the fact that humans are social creatures. To adopt the empty ultramaterialistic view of life is to try to deny all these dimensions to our experience as humans. Meaning is given to OUR (little, personal) life by these things not by materiality.

When your channel blows up and it WILL, I suggest you guys reupload the first years' set of videos. Perhaps once you reach 500k or more.

Wisdom of this caliber should not be buried.

Dissociation can be bad for you. If you see the world as a simulation and not reality it can make you make risky and dangerous decisions at times. Like for example a deranged dissociative person might think they're in a dream and might kill someone cause they think they'll be no consequence.
