The concept of a “home video” is something that almost doesn’t even exist anymore. It’s a term indicative of a bygone pre-internet era that now only exists in the form of memories and long forgotten video tapes hidden away in some dark corner of your basement. Today, we’re gonna take out that dusty old box of tapes to see what horrors they may contain.

12:49 I'm 47 now. When I was a kid and would have sleepovers, my mom would sneak outside our house just a bit after dark, stand outside my bedroom window, put a stocking over her face, and tap on my window. I'd act like I had no clue what was happening…when I'd open my shade, there'd be my mom with a stocking over her face–but to whatever girlfriend was sleeping over, there was a creeper/robber outside.
My still-best-friend very clearly remembers the first time she slept at my house. I think she's the only friend who slept over who laughed when she saw my stocking-faced mom outside.

The quiz to me feels almost like a code. The questions seem irrelevant and the answers and meant to relay information to someone with the requisite knowledge to understand what is actually being said. That’s just my mystery loving brain tho

You forgot about music video… They were way more abundant than people having camcorders when they first came out. Oh yeah, there were 8 mm family films before video recorders but I’m not sure if they called them videos or Home videos then I’m not old enough for when those came out, but those were the least prevalent. Hannah and Kim quarters came out and started calling them videos.

Thing is. I live in Wisconsin and I have seen a dog/man like creature before…but it is much crazier looking then most people have described. I got a very good look at it. Black wolf like creature. Yellow eyes. Huge.

I still watch AFV! Alfonso is an incredible host. The difference between the show and a random YouTube compilation is the host's commentary. Without that buffer to keep it light, a lot of those clips just make me flinch or get irritated at how absent-minded people are.
Like when people get out of a moving car because they forgot to put it in park, and then you have to watch them cringe-chase it. It only takes one minor slip and boom, you're done for. I need Alfonso's voice to keep my brain from going to that dark place! 😂
