    The people in both the video and comments are seemingly unaware of the function of hollowpoint rounds. They arent designed to blow up inside, they are in general designed to expand but remain whole and ideally not penetrate through the other side, and if they do with significantly less energy. This is so the energy is put into the threat, and not your child who you didn't realise was behind a wall, directly behind the threat. Or your neighbor. Also I'm aware this is comedy. I'm also aware it would have never been at all if people were more aware about the details of things they claim to hate. Ignorance and hate go together. And usually make for bad jokes.

    Fun fact. My buddy a couple of years ago accidently shot himself about a half inch to the left of his shaft. He was one of those " this is my safety(points to trigger finger" kind of guys. Him and another buddy of mine were wrestling after watching thor ragnorak and they both had their guns on them so they put them down and wrestled. They wrestled into the guns ajd both went to move it at the same time and pow. Shot in the dick. But anyways he had hollowpoints loaded and the bullet bounced off his pelvis and is sitting in his upper ass/ lower back til this day. He lived only because the bullet did not fragment since it was such close quarters

    Hollow point bullets do not explode because the expansion occurs at a velocity that is less than the speed of sound. That does not meet the generally-accepted definition of an explosion. Hollow point bullets actually deflagrate.

    I'm assuming this is a parody? Given some of the interviews I've seen outside of gun shows and the advertising aimed at selling firearms for CHILDREN, I'm not entirely sure, though. When the parodies start intersecting reality you know there is something very, very wrong going on.

    I saw a governor, or someone of that govt level, speaking at an NRA convention bragging that her two year old has a shotgun. WTF? This country has gone NUTS!

    I used to shoot targets at ranges, and the people there, virtually all of them, were normal people doing the same, not deluded described Rambos, but the current advertising bent leaves me no doubt as to who is significantly to blame for the mass shooting craze. Lest you think this comment is parody, go search the statements I made.

    And these are the same f'ing IDIOTS that will be screaming the loudest when the govt comes down on their crazy ass selves. We now have an open carry law in Fl, NO PERMIT REQUIRED. De Santis is a braid dead moron, it would be irony if he experiences the result personally by some lunatic he handed these 'rights' to.

    I prefer concealed carry, if any general carry has to be legal, WITH at least semi serious background checks for at least the most obvious red flags. If you think cops are jumpy now, just wait until a large percentage of the population has weapons on their belts. Road rage at a whole new level.

    How many weed busts make up for a rape, murder, or other destruction of life. Not that many of you have ever sprinted down a dark alley to save a life, but you have locked humans in cages to be beaten for money.
