Say what you want about Seth Rogan, he gets shit done. Even more impressive when you see his Seinfeld episode and you realise he's quite an anxious fellow.

I bartended a long time. My favorite thing was to find a couple of tipsy patrons and tell an elaborate joke like it really happened to me or a friend and then after they are invested in the whole story (tipsy is important), drop the punchline. It was way more entertaining for me.

Not only does he make complete visions, he has the license to do it. He has the ability and he's met with the opportunity few are trusted with. He's developed a lot of trust that is worthy of envy.

There's definitely always a feeling of "Wow, the gatekeepers let him do that?"

I have had some people also tell me that they don't know when I'm joking but I also find it incredibly weird cuz I feel like I'm being so obvious like I changed my voice and everything when I'm joking around

Great interview. Fred is an interesting person. Naturally funny in his own, intelligent, quirky way. I loved the series he did with Maya. I appreciate his appreciation for Seth Rogen. I’ll have to start watching The Studio again because I gave up on it after a couple episodes.

Seth Rogen made a "reality show" to promote his pot-adjacent products (all fine) but he had people actually compete, and the prize package from a multi-millionaire to the winner was: $0. You couldn't throw $10,000 at the winner, not even to promote your own product? These weren't rich people competing, they were artists trying to make a living. So, no envy for Rogen. His attempt to promote his pottery just put a spotlight on how cheap he is and how he views the working class.

If I was a professional comedian, i would be much more envious of Adam Sandler because I'm pretty sure he's had much more success, and for a longer time too than Seth Rogan.

I’m pretty sure I met Fred at the Sony Store in Century City in 2013. I was a salesman there and it was common for celebrities to shop there. I saw a man I thought was Fred there with possibly a family member. When I approached him as were taught to do he spoke only in Spanish in this insanely high pitch voice. My brain was like this can’t be Fred Armesin even though after I was like no that was for sure him. His immediate transformation into an extremely believable completely different character was like holy crap. Still don’t know if it was him…. But I’m pretty sure.

Seth Rogen has a great relationship with his parents. He found a fulfilling and relaxing hobby with pottery. He's reached a level of success that allows him total control with his passion projects. He's unguarded with his opinions. He's found a real balance with marijuana, that doesn't stunt his productivity. He cares about fashion, but isn't chasing attention. The dude just seems to be happy being Seth Rogen.
