God’s Favorite Customer is the fourth studio album by songwriter Josh Tillman, under the name Father John Misty. The record was preceded by singles “Mr. Tillman,” “Dissapointing Diamonds Are the Rarest of Them All,” and “Just Dumb Enough to Try.” Misty is best known for his previous albums I Love You Honeybear and Pure Comedy.

There’s some great songs on here, but also a fair bit of lackluster material. Definitely his weakest album under the FJM monicker for me
6/10
