Both Halos were released around the same time, but the PCD one is and endures as one of the highest grade emotional songs of the English language, sung by a female singer or female band… in my book.
and it is as happy and filling and victorius as it is the opposite.
Simone and Roy Khan's S-Tier duet Somewhere In Time is up there too.
as music videos go When I Grow Up is gold. One of the friends who taught me MTG totally acapella danced to your song, on improv, with zero personal scorn and it was about as life-etching a personal experience as the first time I heard PCD's stuff on cable TV the years prior.
